Resizing windows in Mac OS X Lion

Today I discovered that you can resize windows in Mac OS X Lion with the aid of the Option and Shift key, a technique usually reserved for image editing software.
Hold down the Option key while resizing the edge of a window to move the opposite edge the same distance.

To continue my current renewed zest for learning things, I have come to the decision that an additional screen would be beneficial to my computing setup.
An obvious choice would be to get another monitor but space limitations and additional requirements mostly rule this out.
My capacity for storing the boxes that large electrical items come in has reached saturation, so whatever is obtained...

I weariness from getting into work early the past few days (getting in about 7.30) makes me worried about if I had a real job in a real place, would I manage the starts? Surely its similar to what I’ve done the past few days. Although, maybe that job would be fulfilling. Hmm. And I wouldn’t feel like I had to do actual learning away from there instead of busy work. Hmm.
Despite the myriad advantages of virtual machines, my favourite is that I don’t have to install ugly programs on my mac. I’m looking at you non/command line Linux programs.
Music is more conducive to productivity than watching TV shows is.
Goddamn people just about boxing me in my parking space by not parking in designated areas!
If I was better at reversing, I wouldn’t have this problem, but the principle remains
